windows 2003 r2 with isa server 2006, 1 ext nic (10.53.24.16) and 1 int
nic (192.168.1.1). Ext nic connected to a 10.53.24.0/24 network. Int
nic connected to a 192.168.0.0/16 network. dhcp relay agent installed
and serving 192.168.0.0/16 interface, forward all dhcp requests to
10.53.24.10.

Windows 2003 r2 DHCP server (10.53.24.10) on 10.53.24.0/24 network.
dhcp scope: 10.53.24.101-10.53.24.150 and 192.168.2.101-192.168.2.150.

10.53.24.0/24 network has a cisco router (10.53.24.1) which connects to
ISP.

What I need accomplished:

1. Clients on 10.53.24.0/24 network WILL NOT receive 192.168.0.0
address.
2. DHCP relay agent serving 192.168.x.x will appropriately fwd DHCP
requests to dhcp server (10.53.24.10). 10.53.24.10 will then assign
192.168.2.x addresses to clients.

Is that possible? Or do I need to have a DHCp sitting on the
192.168.x.x network so that the clients on 10.53.24.x will not get a
192.168.x.x address by accident from 10.53.24.10 dhcp server?

No.
The Relay Agent is for the purpose of granting VPN users TCP/IP Configs from
the 192.168.0.0 segment when they "dialin" via VPN.

No.
The DHCP would be on 192.168.0.0 for the sake of clients on 192.168.0.0.
Nothing will have anything to do with 10.53.24.0

It is not possible that this would ever happen in the first place.
There isn't supposed to be DHCP Clients on the external side of the
ISA,...but even if there are, they are to be served by a DHCP Server that
sits on the 10.53.24.0 segment.
