We have 60 to 70 WAN sites and I wanted to see what other people were doing
for DHCP and redundancy. Are you just splitting them between the two or
what?

I use two redundant DHCP Servers. The Scopes are identically configured on
each,..but then I use Exclusions to split the available addresses so that
each server gives out half of them.

What do you do on your network equipment then? Add both servers for IP

Yes. Some equipment allows you to pass the queries to just a subnet instead
of a specific server as well. But, yes, ours has a "list" of DHCP Servers it
will pass the queries to. I don't know if it does it "round-robin" or if it
just always sends to both, or how it handles that internally, and I don't
know exactly how the DHCP Server avoid conflicts if they are both receiving
the requests,...however, it is most certainly working perfectly fine for us.
