We migrated SBS 2000 to WIndows 2003 using SwingIT kit. Domain Upgrade is
successful. I setup DHCP server on new DC and ISA 2004. Whenever I reboot the
server I get the error message on the system event log with Event ID 1059
Source DHCP Server. The DHCP Service failed to see a directory server for
authorization. When I open DHCP console it is not connected. But DHCP client
getting the IP address from the DHCP server. I can see in DHCP console
address leases to Clients. But another issue I have. If I ping any computer
using ipadress I get immediate respoinse. But I ping computer with name there
is a delay. How to resolve this issue. Your help is appriciated.

Have you talked to the SwingIt Kit support team? It is important that you
report the issue to them.

Have you tried authorizing DHCP in the domain.

Typically that error means that you have more than one DC/AD running. They
are different domains but have the same display name. If you do not have any
other servers running then it is likely that you have records for more than
one DC in your AD.

I have limited knowledge of the SwingIT model so again you should speak to
them.
