I have problems getting client machines to hit our company
web site when using DHCP - Everything in DNS is set up
properly - if I add the server IP as a DNS server
manually, all is fine, but if the client picks up the DNS
IPs from the DHCP server, its almost like it doesn't use
the server address, only the external DNS server.

On the client machine at a command prompt, type the command:

"IPCONFIG /ALL"

Then you can see how it is really configured by the DHCP. This way you see
all the information on every interface (logical or otherwise) including
which DHCP server it got it from if there happens to be more than one.

i would run the ipconfig to make sure that one of your DNS entries is an
internal DNS server... sounds like you are strictly running external DNS
servers... whatever dc you are running DNS on, make a DHCP entry with the
internal IP of that DNS server...
