Hi

I have switched DHCP role on our Windows 2003 server. Clients in the same
building get an IP address ok when they login.

We have another building that is connected via a wireless RF link. The IP
range though is still the same (not seperated by routers). No client at the
other building can get an an IP address ("waiting for DHCP repsonse..." on a
Win ce dumb term client)

Why is this and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Have you contacted the vendors of the wireless devices to see if those
devices are causing the problem? This surely would be a common thing to
them.

Hi!

Do you have tried to enabled the DHCP Server in the Wireless Router?
configured an scope in the same range but not used in the Windows 2003
server scope.

Best regards!

You might also want to check if the access points are enabled in your
network bridge.

thanks for all your replies - contacting the vendor revealed that dhcp was
configurable on these routers (I didn't hink that they were.)

thanks again
