Hi Eshprof,
I think it's for when DHCP assigns an IP address to a PC, it also sends the
extra information which in this case is the name servers, over to the PC.
Example:
1. PC requests IP Address
2. DHCP Server replies with an offer of an IP Address
3. PC accepts or rejects the offer
4. If the PC accepts the offer then the DHCP assigns the IP Address to the
PC, and also provides it with the Name servers and any other info that has
been set e.g a time server
