DHCP Lease

Hi,

is it possible to setup DHCP that way that it releases IP address to a PC
with a particular host name prefix. Lets say
"AB" - prefix
"12345" - name
"AB%" - all host names started with AB will have IP address assigned from DHCP

Hi

you could ping that machine, then find out its mac address with arp -a, then
you can add a DHCP reservation for that mac address(physical address).
