DHCP first time and renewal addressing

I know that once a DHCP client has been issued an address
the first time it will always attempt to contact the same
DHCP for renewals.
For this to happen I assume that this piece of information
is held on the client and presumably in the registry.
I have seen a previous thread posted (2/24/2004 8:16:15
AM) on this registry key which may be promising.
As we know the first time a client tries to get an address
it broadcasts for it and what with the assistance of
routers, relay agents or same segment DHCP servers it will
get an address.
Is it possible to pre-fill this key with the DHCP servers
details so that for the first time a client gets an
address it goes to this server without the need to
broadcast for it and potentially picking up a rogue DHCP
server?
