I have a Win 2003 server that has DNS, DHCP installed. The server is working
properly but I have noticed entries for DHCP clients that reference
DHCP\BOOTP. I don't have BOOTP enabled on my DHCP settings. None of the IP
addresses are pingable (no response) and they do not have any DNS name
associated with them, only the IP address. Does anyone know why I am seeing
these entries??? And if I can remove them?
Thanks in advance for any help,
L

Lanman

Could these possibly be reservation entries that are created on your Dhcp
Server?
Reservation entries will show up in you Scope (Address Leases) even when in
inactive state
Double check your Reservations folder on the affected Scope

Thanks
