If I'm configuring the DNS Domain server option under DHCP in W2K3, what do
I enter there using the following example:

MyDomain.local is my new W2K3 domain as it appears in the AD
MyInternetDomain.com is my domain on the Internet but the server hasn't even
asked about this.

Do I enter MyDomain.local there or just MyDomain?

Thanks,

Sam

assuming you are talking about 015 DNS Domain Name, it should be
mydomain.local.

It would be "MyDomain.local". Your LAN wouldn't care "squat" about what your
domain is publicly known by to the outside world for the most part. There
are times when that matters, but this isn't one of them.
