This a small office network running two DC's with one providing the DHCP
server function. Recently been seeing flaky problems with some of the
clients, so I ran ipconfig /all and got the listing below. Problem is, ONLY
the gateway is at 192.168.1.254, DHCP is at 192.168.1.6, and DNS/WINS
servers are at 192.168.1.6 and 192.254.1.4. Somehow, the clients are
acquiring the wrong DHCP options. When I do ipconfig /release then /renew,
sometimes they refresh to the correct settings. But invariably, when I
reboot them, the get they bogus settings. I've rebooted the two DC's of
course, but no fix. Any ideas? Help!!! and Thanks!!!

Well, just fixed my own problem! We use DSL here so have a DSL router on the
network, plus there's a wireless AP on the network as well. I remembered
that both these devices have built-in DHCP servers, so I checked them both.
Guess what? The DSL router had its DHCP server enabled! Once I disabled
that, all is well. Thanks for your kind attention... tom c
