I agree with Doug. That will do it, but I can't see the connection between
that and your login problem. If the clients are W2k and you are running AD,
login will not be using Netbios names. Clients will be finding the logon
server using DNS. Are all clients set to use the local DNS server only (ie
the one with the SRV records for AD)?
Are you running WINS? If not, changing the node type won't have any
positive effect. Machines will still default to using broadcasts after
trying to find a WINS server and failing. All the hybrid node setting does
is tell the machine to try the WINS server first.
