hai

what happens if my dhcp client lease time is expaired and there are two
dhcp servers running on the same network. then what will happen to my
dhcp client machine

Why do you repost the question? What was wrong with Davide's
answer?

As he already pointed out it's a no go running two dhcp server on
the same LAN, with the exception, recent isc dhcp releases allow
to run in configured loadbalance/ha mode more then one dhcp
server per lan. But I doubt you'd ask if you knew about?

Actually, multiple dhcp servers have been around for years. See my reply to
David for more info.

Probably, however it's IIRC in isc dhcpd since >3.x, which might
not be available per default to the OP, if he's running some
older distro, we don't know. That was the reason for pointing
out.
