DHCP Authorization and Scope Activation

I'm learning about DHCP from Osborne "Implementing a Windows Server
2003 Network Infrastructure" and an evaluation copy of Enterprise
Edition. The book says that the DHCP server will have a green arrow
pointing up if it is authorized. I see the green arrow. Shouldn't I
be able to view this authorization in AD Domains and Trusts? Where is
it?

The book says that the scope is also supposed to have a green arrow
but ** Active ** is displayed in the status column instead. If I
recall correctly, the green arrow used to be there before I
deactivated and re-activated the scope. Why is it gone and how do I
get it back?

Hi Bob --

I am unfamiliar with this problem, but since nobody else has posted a
response I thought I would share additional documentation resources with
you.

The DHCP Technical Center has links to all WS03 DHCP content and is located
at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net...p/default.mspx.
