DHCP and DNS

Hi! Greetings from Venezuela.

I have a question, how I can specifically assign to a user gateway by defect
that I have in a network whose service DHCP and DNS is in Windows Server
2003?. I know how to do this using VLANs but, I can't use it because there is
no a Switch with enough privilege. So, please if you know how to do this tell
me as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

I would like to help you and feel that I can but I don't understand the
question. Please restate the question. Explain to me a little more
about your networking environment.

Assumptions:
I assume you have multiple segments operating under the same subnet
(hence, VLANs). You said you don't have a switch with enough
priviledges?? -meaning you don't have write access passwords or?-which
you don't need if your question is related to a MS Server.

Based on what you wrote I think your asking
'how do you tell the requester (client) what its gateway is'? (default
router).
