Hi,

I have a server (NT4, SP6a, its the PDC) which shows as a DHCP Server when
you type "Net Start" from a command prompt.
When you look at DHCP properties, though, it appears to be "inactive" or
"deactivated".

I have a W2k server which is an active DHCP server, and appears to be doing
the job, but how can I check that the other server really is inactive? And
should I be deleting the DHCP settings if it is?

Thanks in advance

Steve

You should be able to look on the NT4 box and see if any leases have been
given out. If you aren't using the DHCP Server on that box, it is best that
the service is stopped and then removed.

Thanks, Dusty
I'll have a look at that.
