DG834G Wireless drops connection

I have a DG834G wireless mode/router which seems to disconnect my
wireless connection. I have tried using an alternative wireless card
on my laptop, so am convinced that it is a DG834G problem. I have
upgraded to the latest firmware. Also, at times I notice that my
connection speed sometimes drops to 5.5Mbps instead of 11Mbps.
When the connection is dropped, the only way I can get it back is by
fully powering down/up the DG834G.

I have even rebuilt my laptop, to ensure that I had no driver problems
(no WAP patch etc is installed).
