I have just checked the logs sent by my DG814 for the first time in
quite a while and have found a problem.

Originally, the log showed one line at a time with the date and time -
as one sees it when browsing the log on the DG814 itself.

Now (see below) it strings multiple actions on one line and the
date/time is missing.

Currently on V4.9RC1 July. 15, 2003

Has this been fixed in a later version. I'm certain it was OK on 4.7.

RC for release candidate then, seems a bit risky using this in a
production system.

Still the same here on 4.9RC3 with my email client (Turnpike).
Does display one entry per line when viewed using the Plusnet web
interface. Date and time is needed so that I can see when I lost my
ADSL connection.

I'm straying OT here, but does that firmware sort out the UDP traffic
death-rattle which many of these routers (including mine) seem to suffer
from?

Don't know what this is, so cannot say.

When used with P2P progs it falls over after a couple of days/hours... I may
have one for sale soon

Maybe it is trying to tell you that you shouldn't be downloading illegal
material!

That explains it. I don't use any P2P programs so would not see this
problem.
