We've been using DFS (active directory) for years on our servers.
Recently, I shut a server down for maintenance. This server has
nothing to do with DFS excepting for the fact that some folders are
located on this server. No root is defined on this server. However,
the DFS link is still accessible when this server is down, but even the
folders located on other servers are not accessible anymore. Of
course the folders located on this server are not accessible.
