Hi All,

There are two offices seperated by a T1 network extender, same subnet..There
is a Domain Controller at each location. What do I have to do to ensure that
the DFS Client picks the server closest to it ? (The one on the faster
connection).

Thanks,

Ralph

That is a bit tricky. Maybe someone in the Active Directory newsgroup can
come up with a suggestion.

Normally this is handled by AD Sites and Services. You link each site to
a particular subnet, and AD looks after it. Obviously that won't work for
you.

I knew it...You see, at this time I'm not using a network extender. The
connection at this time is through a router. I have AD sites and services
configured with two different sites and thier related subnets...It works this
way.. This will eventually change to the one subnet configuaration.

You're right though, it seems tricky !
