How can I determine which DC a workstation used to authenticate with? I know
I can enter set logonserver from the workstations cmd prompt, but how can I
find out what %longserver% is from a remote console such as the DC's console?

Is this something that can be done from the DC's command prompt?

Hello Bob,

Thank you for using newsgroup!

Unfortunately, I can't find out what this mean. Based on my experience, there is no way from DC. As
a workaround, DC will log event in Security log when the client logs on, so you can review the
event log to find those logon/logoff event, these events contain the computer which authenticates
with this DC.

Hope this helps.

There are a few ways to do it. But the easy way is to run a program call
Hyena.

http://www.systemtools.com/hyena/

It will query all DC and give you a list.
