Detecting Internet Connection

How can I get my MN-500 Base station to reconize that I
am online? We tried every option but still will not work.
And we have an AOL broadband modem and it is not showing
any activity while the base station setup wizard is
decting internet.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You best check with AOL. They use a proprietary TCP/IP which is not
compatible except with a few routers, and the Microsoft products aren't
among them. So your choice is simple: Either go with an Internet Service
Provider which runs according to approved protocol (and probably save
money), or take the Microsoft router back and exchange it for whatever AOL
recommends.
