Are you running a firewall (Norton?) on the PC? Uninstall
it. Are you running ICF? Disable it.
Actually, you don't need to go through the wizard. Run IE
and go to 192.168.2.1 You need to set up the WAN page to
get the router connecting to the Internet. If the modem
is using NAT, then select dynamic connection; if not, use
the settings given by your ISP. On the PC, make sure the
TCP/IP is set to obtain a dynamic IP and DNS from
the "server".
Once working, change also the router SSID and WEP key (if
using wireless), and the password (if needed).
