Details of an external antenna onto Orinoco/laptop?

I'm getting setup to do some war-driving...with a laptop,
Netstumbler, and an Orinoco Gold (PCMCIA) card.

To attach an external antenna to the Orinoco, I got the
small plastic cover off the little gold tube.

The question now is: where do I get the connection pin
that fits into the little gold tube?

Rumor has it there exists a little 3 or 4 wire 'spring clip'
that is pinched up and inserted. If so, where do I get one?
Or, can one be easily constructed?

(Also, I've got a 10dBi onni-directional pole antenna that
is about 40-inches tall. I've had thoughts of just sticking that
out the car window. But, if you can recommend an
inexpensive mobile antenna that you think would be superior
to that, I'm listening.)

TIA...

Dave

Here's what I use:

Which is sold here:

Oh shit, looks like they discontinued that antenna and are now selling the
"Yagi in a tube", if you find where to get the PVC coated one let me know.

The connector in question is an "MC" connector. You can pick up an 18"
pigtail with a male "N" connector on eBay. Here is a link to a seller that
sells quality cables and adapters.

You can find these cables elsewhere on the web since you now know what to
look for. This seller is great and will ship quickly. Good luck.

I got one of those "Trucker CB Magnetic Mount"s that has
3 magnets in a "T" arrangement and had an aluminum bracket
welded to it for my 10dbi omni... This holds with no problems
at freeway speeds... I use LMR400 all the way to the amp
and to the DWL-650+ taken out of a DI-614+...
