Desktop rollout question.

I am learning how to implement WS2003 prior to its installation at my place
of work. I have a "test" rig of a DC server connected to one XPPro
workstation.
I have created some test user accounts and assigned them roaming profiles
with folder redirection (not sure if this will be required yet). I would
like to be able to create a Desktop "look" on the workstation and then have
this desktop, complete with wallpaper, shortcuts etc., appear on any other
workstation at log on to the domain..
Is this possible and how could this be achieved?

TIA

MH

Sounds like you want to create a customized default user profile first. This
can be done using a local account that is then copied over to the Default User
folder (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319974). Roaming profiles could then be
used to ensure the same desktop is shown on all computers a user logs into.

Thanks Mike,

So the first time that this created on the local PC, it will then carried
onto the server as a "roaming profile" at domain log on?
So when I then log on for the first time on another workstation as the
original ac user it will retreive and display the profile info from the
server?

Many thanks
MH
