so, i have to design a network for a floor with some fixed PCs and some laptops like 10 each and 1 or 2 copier machine
i need some suggestions on the design
i have sth that i want to share correct me if i'm wrong
an Internet connection through fiber comes into the building and gets attached to a media converter followed by a Switch
then through that switch i provide connections to fixed PCs through CAT5 cables forming a star topology
one connection will go to a wireless router that will also cover the connectivity in the floor wirelessly for the laptops
but i don't know how the laptops are going to get access to the copier and will there be any interference problem in the cables, etc.?
I'm a noob so help me please.

Is there a domain setup? AD on any of the servers? If so it makes everything easier
