Can anyone give me a summary and maybe diy references of the type of
designs that are used for these flat panel antennas sold by a lot of
companies? What do they look like inside? Are they completey
passive? Are they BiQuads, or something else? I'm curious.

thanks,

dave mcd

Talking about antennas, my recommendation is the "Antenna How To"
maintained by Seattle Wireless. It can be found here:

http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/AntennaHowTo

The Howto gives a comprehensive description of all the different types
of Antennas out there.
