Ive spent today formatting all my 3 machines and reinstall xp with sp2.

And now the time has come for me to install this software

Office XP Pro
Publisher XP
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Nero 6
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004
Adobe Photoshop 7

Plus other bits of stuff.

is there any i can install this software just once so it is deployed to all
machines, i am on a network and i have a four machine which i use as my
server where installation files, and backups are done the server machine
also have XP Pro SP2.

TIA

Andy

I think it should all be possible, but you will have to do a major
deployment build, and burn your own CDs. A lot of work.
One machine will need to be set up, and then you will have to base the
CDs on that, and install on the other 2, so the time spent installing
windows may have been wasted, because you'll prolly have to do it again
with the deployment.

You'd need a proper server - 2000 server or 2003. Then you could do an
install on one pc and set it all up, build it into an image and distribute
it automatically to the other PC's by simply booting them from their network
cards. Bit involved though, and XP won't do it.

It will if you use PSExec (from Sysinternals) and the command line, quiet
install of each software package.
