demand dialed ppp

I have a non profit group that is sharing one ppp line. I want to
connect them through an ethernet and have a demand dialed ppp
line to the service provider.

How is this done in linux? I know it must be simple but I have never
done it before

By using the pppd option "demand" and perhaps the "idle <n>" option as
well. Read the pppd man pages for a description of these options.

Take a look at diald. It's a somewhat more manageable alternative to using
pppd's built-in demand dialling capabilities.
