What is a Dell TrueMobile 1150 Mini-Pci wireless card ?

I am installing a Dell TrueMobile 1150 Mini-Pci wireless network card
in a Dell Latitude laptop and I get no wireless signal detection.

Anybody know anything about these cards or where I can get info on
them ?

Is this a standard 802.11B card or is it something that requires a
special wireless or radio signal ?

That is a really old card. The 1180 which came with my Inspiron 8200 was
an 802.11b card with the Broadcom chipset. Thought the 1150 might be
similar, but apparently not. This thread on dlsreports.com may be of help:
