Dell laptop & verizon wireless card

Has anyone had any luck getting an adapter so the verizon broadband
card fits a dell laptop? My husband purchased(it's on back order) one
from synchrotech. Just curious if someone out there has one thats
working??

Why would you need an adapter? PC Cards are a standard.

Not any more. Dells are shipping with ExpressCard slots.

I thought this was a mistake, when I saw they were doing this, but it turns
out that I have never used the single PC card slot on my Dell. With USB,
firewire and an SD slot, the PC card seems redundant.

Until something else comes along that you'd rather have mostly internal than
hanging off a wire; e.g., HSDPA wireless.
