Hi,

I have a Dell D600 from work. There was an icon in "Network
Connections" saying "Local Area Connection 2, Disabled, Cisco Systems
VPN Adapter" the other (from memory) was the laptops "proper" network
connection.

When I went into Device Manager, the "proper" network connection
seemed to have an error (yellow mark), I updated it, and it was ok. I
then enabled the Cisco Systems VPN Adapter, it got the network address
and ws running fine last night.

I switched it on this morning but there is no "proper" network
connection present in "Network Connections" or Device Manager. There
is only the Cisco one. When I enable the Cisco one, it stays on
"acquiring network address" and nothing else happens. It seems the
"proper" one has disappeared!

Can anyone help and/or point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!
