Deleting Unused Folders

Hi,

I have a question that hopefully someone will be able to answer for me.
I am new to the world of servers, so I created a new user in Windows Server
2003 to experiment with. In the properties for the user I specified a
folder for his profile. (\\server\profiles$\username) Since I originally
created the account for testing and now that I don't need it, I deleted it.
But, when I open Windows Explorer the folder for that user that the computer
created is still there. I tried deleting it but got the message, access
denied. I checked the permissions but didn't see anything that should stop
me from deleting this. What am I missing here? Thanks for any and all
help!!

Mike
