deleted shared folder

I have two computers networked by a router. Let's say they are computer A
and computer B. Computer A had a shared folder called BackupFold and has
been deleted. But it is still appearing in the computers A and B in Network
Neighborhood. How do I remove them. I have been trying to do this for at
least a week with no success. I hope I have conveyed my problem clearly.
Please help.
