Deleted network printer

I deleted the printer (the driver is still on my computer) and cannot get it
restored correctly. On my computer I think it should be a local printer, and
set it up to share, but I cannot get her computer set up to print on this
printer. Everything worked fine until I deleted printer.

How can I get her computer set up again to print on my printer?

Not sure I understand you correctly.

You had a local printer installed on your machine, which you shared, and
"her" machine was able to print to that printer? Then for some reason you
deleted the printer from your machine and reinstalled it, shared it again,
but now can't print to it from her machine? It works OK on your machine?

If that's correct, you probably need to delete it from her machine and
reinstall it. If that's not correct, please provide a more detailed,
step-by-step description of what you did, including "why" you deleted it
from your machine in the first place.

Yes that is correct. When I deleted the printer on my machine, my intent was
only to to delete the print job, but it was one of those days. We have tried
to "add a printer" on the other machine several times but cannot get it to
work. It does not show up on the list of networked printers.

OK, let's call the computer the printer is attached to Computer 1, and the
other one Computer 2. You removed and reinstalled the printer to Computer 1?
It's properly shared and has a valid share name? Does it show up in Network
Neighborhood on Comuter 1? Can you share a folder on Computer 1 and see it
from Computer 2?

Umm, Sharon, you didn't answer all of my questions. I had reasons for asking
them, <s>.

Anyway, if you can't see any shared folders on Computer 1 from Computer 2,
then the network isn't properly set up. If you can see shared folders on
Computer 1 from Computer 2, but not the shared printer, then I suggest you
remove the printer from Computer 1 and reinstall it again, then share it,
making sure you use a valid share name as instructed by the fine print (I
forget what the restrictions are, exactly, and I don't have an easy way to
find that out at this moment.) Don't just reinstall the printer without
removing it and any leftover instances from past attempts.
