Hi
We use "net use" command to map shared folders of server to network driver
in client computer. If client computer is Windwos XP, there will be a prefix
before the network driver name like" 'Beijing File and Print server
(cnbei2s05)' ", I noticed that string is the combination of server's computer
description and computer name. Because that string is too long, I want to
delete it. But after I deleted the server's computer description and rebooted
it. there is no any change of this prefix. I tried search that string at
register, also did not found. I am sure that string come from server's
computer description and there is a copy on somewhere, such as in Active
Directory. There is no BDC also.
So where this prefix string?

Many thanks for your help!!
