Dear Windows 98 Networking users. Is Somebody is familiar in deep
windows network architecture in Windows 98? I have a problem with it's
deinstallation proccess. Let me describe my problem. I bought two network
adapters and suddenly I took a connection problem. I would not like to go in
deeper description of my problem for now. I just need to say that my
computers do not recognize each other some time when I turn on one during
another computer is already turned on, simply I cannot access to anyone of
them. They are inavailable to each other. That is all for now I think is
relevant to be mentioned. Let me now start describing my deinstallation
problem. When I click on my Network icon in Control Panel I do entire
deinstallation process and then Windows restarts. The network is
deinstalled. I deinstall my network adapter device driver and all works good
(no errors are noted). I start then new installation process and I return
network on my computer but here is the problem. All shared folders are
returned like they were before. I saw that the settings stay the same that
means that Windows saves the datas somewhere.

If somebody could explain me how to ensure that entire network support
is deinstalled from my system after deinstallation process. So to be in able
to install my network totaly renewed without any configuration related to
the past installation.

If Somebody could refer me to some links related to Windows networking
problem solutions.

Thanks!

Is there possible just network reinstallation?

In 'File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Networks' there are two the
options:

Browse Master: Automatic
LM Announce: No

When I change them to:

Browse Master: Enable
LM Announce: Yes

My computers connected to each other slows down enormously. It is
visible during my Windows 98 is shutting down. I must wait it for a half of
minute.

Knows somebody what should be the problem?

Thanks.
