Hi:

I am setting up a hotspot for my coffe shop. I have a cable connection and
will use a wireless routher (probobly one from D-Link or Linksys). When a
user connects to my hotspot, I would like a default webpage to pop up at
first, with my logo, etc.

Does anyone know how to do this? I read on the internet that it can be
done.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Ryan

You'll need a proxy server to intercept web connections and serve your page
instead of the requested page.

Ron Bandes, CCNP, CTT+, etc.

Take a look at the following product.
http://www.jpelectron.com/dnsredir.htm You'll probably have to run
all traffic through a PC with this solution. There are wireless
routers that provide the function you describe. D-Link offers a
gateway DSA-3100 - retails for $500.
