hi

i've installed wireless networks for a few of my custs.
I've used DLink & Linksys...(Linksys appears to be giving
me better results. Belkin the worse...would be interested
in your comments).

Some of my customers' networks drop about once every
week or two. I think this may be due to their wireless
interfering with others wireless networks in the same
office bldg, or someone in their bldg uses 2.4GHz phones.

So I am looking for some tools for future cases that can
analyze the airwaves b4 I recommend a wireless installation.

Tools that can detect 2.4GHz phones, and other networks.

Any tips?
thanx
ted

Intermittent dropouts of wireless are not rare by any stretch. Most of
the few I have had were solved by repowering modem and router (Linksys).
Others have come from the nether world of WindowsXP, and as "features"
from Microsoft through Windows update.
