DCC problem

Using a DCC between 2 compaq pc-s using WinMe and Win98
and eithernet cable connection. Everything was fine till
a scan disk on the Win98 a week ago have been unable to
view web pages I downloaded to the WinMe PC. When I try to
open the web page using the Win98 PC for off line viewing
I get the following error...cannot find the file\---\----\-
--.htm of one of its components. Make sure the path and
file name are correct and that all the required libraries
are available. No problem viewing htm files on the Win98
using the WinMe PC including htm files. Everything else
between the 2 PC DCC is fine.
