I am trying to connect my desktop which is runnning
windows 98SE, with my laptop which is running NT pro. I
have connected them using a serial port cable and have
configure the system so that the desktop is the host
(using DCC) I've followed various web site help
(installing IPX/SPX/NetBios) but I've got to the point
where it appears that the two machines are connecting
through COM1 but the laptop don't appear to be able to see
the desktop shared files. The shared files do appear on
the desktop under network neighbourhood>entire network.

When I try look at the entire network on the laptop it
only shows the laptops shared files. ANy help would be
greatly appreacted.

Many Thanks
Neal.
