This might seem like a silly question, but what will we need to do with our
Windows servers to accomodate the changes in Daylight Savings time next year
as passed in a recent law. Thanks.

Ditto, but I am sure Microsoft will have a patch out to correct it.

Microsoft will need to answer this one, but I suspect that the
necessary changes will be incorporated in a bugfix at some point. I
don't think there's anything you can do to change the DST rules
directly, although I'm sure there are intrepid developers out there who
can/will do just that! ;-)

I hope not! I like GMT! Maybe M$ could patch everything to get rid of time
zones and force the world to run on GMT only, now that would make things
easier!

When the daylight saving end date was delayed one week in NSW and
Victoria (Australia) recently to accommodate the Commonwealth Games,
Microsoft supplied a patch to implement the change.
