Yes, read this:

************************************************** *******************
20 minutes on a mobile phone running at typical power levels would be
equivalent to about 1 hour in a classroom with 20 wLAN PCs.
************************************************** *******************

One day at school = 2 hours on the phone due to wi fi in the classroom,
it's shocking especially amid the concerns and advice given by the
governments own advisor on the matter that children should not use
mobile phones.

Myth: Being on a phone for 20 minutes is equivalent to 1 year
in a wifi classroom:

Their theory seems to be that GSM phones may represent a new danger
because the transmissions are pulsed (see "From Radio and TV"). I
guess you can hence avoid the risk by using a CDMA phone instead.
3 will be happy they can advertise their service as being good for
your health.

How does that compare with 1 hour in a classroom with 20 kids all
playing with their ringtones when they're supposed to be studying
something pointless like French?

I also heard on TV today that kids were being advised not to have
laptops on their err.....laps . Didn't go in to specifics but I guess
they'll get their nuts melted .

WHy would you post an abuse report about that?

Everyone has the right to talk bollocks and make reference to selected
"evidence" to further their own opinions.
