Hi, two questions for one post today.

#1 I am using (and loving) proxomitron but need to use some remote
transparent proxies (to get around the Thai censoring) as well. It
seems to me that I have heard that it is possible to daisy chain
proxies but I am not sure how to.

#2 I have to use transparent proxies to get around the Thai censoring
here and was wondering if there was a app (preferably freeware) that
easily allowed one to check and see if a proxy was good and check its
speed, or even better if there was a program that got up-to-date lists
of proxies (xml feeds?) and gave a breakdown of which ones were working
and their speed (not sure if there are such lists)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Gaiko

Ps If it helps my main browser is Opera 7.4

Sure it is possible, the directive is called "cache_peer" for
squid, of course you need at least control the proxies you are
going to use on the way to the proxy actually fetching whatever
documents for you.

Good luck
