Hi all.
I have an existing MN-500, which serves most of my wifi
gadgets (PDA, laptops, etc)

I bought and MN-700 to use with my XBOX MN-740, which I
need the high speed connection to run it as my MCE
Extender.
To that end, I wish to run both, was figuring on either
locking the MN-700 to accept only G traffic, or filtering
on the MN-74o MAC address.

I've been tinkering w/ daisy chaing the two adapters, but
the which ever is plugged into the other doesn't seem to
have web access.

I've run the base station wizards a couple of times, but
s far no joy.

Any ideas? Can this be done? (Pardon the crap ascii)

You can't just hook them together, Neil, you need (in this case) to set the
MN-700 to Access Mode as described in Chapter 3 of the User's Guide. The
MN-500 therefore becomes the Gateway for the MN-700, and receives the feed
from it.
