my setup won't send emails with attachments. The setup is: D-link DSL604+
wireless 4 port router and modem. 2 desktops have linksys wireless nics.
The office is large and the 604+ won't reach the further of the desktops.
D-Link told me that I would need 2 DWL-900AP+'s, plugging one of them into
the 604+ directly (since their wireless capabilities are not compatible).
The second one is set to be the repeater, and is plugged into the main power
only. It works fine and doesn't drop connections. The problem is that the
smallest attachment makes it impossible to send mail almost all of the time.
I have a pipex ADSL connection and have been onto them. Their help was
thorough and patient but did not solve the problem. Our email is handled by
someone else who tells me that I can use pipex's smtp server or theirs.
Both parties agree about this. Whatever server I use, I cannot send emails
with attachments.

Can anyone give me some assistance?

Hard to imagine this being a wireless problem. Can you send attachments
with a hotmail or yahoo mail account?

Why not connect one of the computers to the router by Cat 5 and then see if
you can send an email? doubt problem is wireless related.
