I just got a toshiba M30 with built-in b wireless. I also have a DWL-650
G card that I would prefer using. The problem is that my new laptop
won't obtain an IP address for the G wireless. Is there something I can
do to make this work? I'm no computer wizzard so please keep that in
mind in your reply to this question.
Any advice appreciated.
caleb

Make sure the settings are exactly the same. Check Encryption,
channel, if your hiding your ssid, undo that for a test, that may fix
it.

You may have already tried this....but, disable your internal wireless
adapter.
