D-Link modem/routers are they any good?

Does anyone have any particular experience with d-link adsl router
modems the two i have been looking at are DSL-G604T (wireless) and
DSL-504T (wired). I have been reading customer reviews on dabs.com and
some people seem to like them and others have had nothing but problems
such as the router freezing, loosing connections and high pitched
noises coming from them.

I was looking at getting either of the above routers when the time
comes but im not sure now and would like any advice from people that
have any of the above routers or have used any of them. Are Linksys
any better or more reliable?

I don't have the specific models you are looking at, but I do have DI-624+
wireless router hooked up to DSL-300G+ and I have no problems whatsoever
with my conection or the stability of the kit.

I'm happy to recommend D-Link, I guess others with bad experiences will not.
I think you will find the spread of comments is the same just about all of
the manufacturers.

Brother bought a G604T and it whistled but dlink replaced it without hassle
and he is pleased with the range/performance so far of the non-whistling
replacement
