Can anyone tell me if this is a good router (DI-642), i have 5 computers i
would like to connect to the router (one being into the ethernet switch) i
have worked it out to be about £330 altogether. I would like to know if
anyone else has this router and what they think of it.

Thanks,

Pete.

It really depends on what you mean by "good". "Good" as compared to what?

I think you mean the D-Link DI-624 router. If so, I have one with 6 'puters
connected - 2 wirelessly and 4 Ethernetted. Its been fine for me :-)

Be aware that D-Link now market a DI-624+ router

According to the D-Link website - they don't make a DI-604+ !

They DO make a DI-614+, but its IEEE 802.11b. Since the OP was asking about
the DI-624 its natural to assume he wants IEEE 802.11g

It doesn't appear to have an ADSL modem built in - you know that I hope.

Good point! I coupled mine to a D-Link DSL-300G+ ADSL Modem (but as the OP
was only asking for info for a "good router", I thought he knew that!).

:-)
