D-Link DI-624 nightmare - PLEASE HELP! [PART II]

Another problem I am having with my DI-624 is that I cannot get it to
properly assign static IP addresses. I am trying to get it to assign
specific IP addresses to devices with specific MAC addresses in my wireless
network.

In the DHCP config page I turned off DHCP serving. Then I assigned a static
IP address (in the correct range for my network) to the correspondic MAC
addresses and enabled those items. However, when wireless devices connect to
the network they do not receive the desired IP address. They receive another
IP address and work fine with it, but I want to control my IP addresses.

The wireless devices are set up to dynamically receive an IP address.

Anyone have a clue as to what is going on?

i have around the same as you call a tech... and after an hour says
to return the brad new dlink624,buy a new one same thing return it too.I am
thinking now if i will give an another chance at this piece of hardware

You have turned off DHCP, re-enable it and turn on Static DHCP too.
How do you expect your wireless devices to be assigned a dynamic address if
you have disabled the function.
